What does the local church mean to you?

Maybe you love your church. You love the people. You love the preaching and the singing. You can’t wait to show up on Sunday, and you cherish fellowship with other church members throughout the week.
Then again, maybe church is just a place you show up to a couple of times a month. You sneak in late and duck out early.
MOFM is convinced that the local church is where God equips his people as ambassadors of the Kingdom of Heaven to display His glory to the nations. Come be equipped by investing your time into this awesome Study.

Fulfillment Hour

Fulfillment Hour is a model in which small groups carry out all of God’s biblically mandated purposes of the church during a specific block of time normally assigned to Sunday School. These purposes are:

    •      Evangelism—Leading people to a belief and greater faith in Jesus Christ.
    •      Discipleship—Leading people to grow spiritually, live in obedience to God’s word and follow Him wholly.
    •      Fellowship—Leading people to make building godly, loving relationships a priority.
    •      Ministry/Missions—Leading people to discover their spiritual gifts and use them in edifying the body of Christ.
    •      Worship—Leading people to express their adoration, honor and love for God.

Fulfillment Hour attempts to fulfill all of the purposes of the church through an organized, balanced approach within the context of an hour, not in an hour, but within the context of an hour. It could be said that Fulfillment Hour is a purpose-driven Sunday School. Yet, Fulfillment Hour is much more than Sunday School or another name given to Sunday School. It is a way of “doing church.”
